Fulham FC Foundation’s Girls Development Centre is part of our Female Football Pathway, and supports player’s development alongside their own grassroots football team training.

Our sessions run weekly to support individuals to achieve their maximal potential across the FA's 4 corner model (physical, technical/tactical, psychological and social) and are delivered by FA and UEFA qualified coaches. We strive to provide an engaging and inspiring environment where female players can take ownership of their own development and learning, whilst improving their physical and mental wellbeing. The programme also provides additional opportunities here at the Foundation such as educational training, and a pathway into our EmpowHER and Football & Education Programme. Previously we have also had participants progress into Fulham FC Women’s team.

Venue Details:
• All weather astro pitch at Blagdons Sports Ground, Beverley Way, New Malden KT3 4PU. Please exit the slip road near B&Q and the Big Yellow Storage.
• Parents will be allowed to remain on site to watch the sessions, no photos of the session may be taken.

Car park & Sign In/Out:
• There is very limited parking on site. Please utilise local parking facilities where appropriate.
• The carpark gates will remain open between 7:25 to 8pm and 8:45 to 9pm.
• Escort your child to the coach to sign in and collect your child at sign out, this will allow the coaches to check you have your child’s nominated adult listed to collect them.
• Please also make the head coach aware of any pre-existing injuries, so coaches can keep an eye on the girls throughout the session.

Bring/ wear:
• Water Bottle (no fizzy drinks) We are committed to promoting environmental sustainability we politely request participants arrive with a multi-use drinks bottle rather than single use.

Our New Malden Girls Skills Club runs at Blagdons Sports Ground, every Thursday evening of the school term. The sessions cater for girls of the U5 (Year 5) to U9 (Year 4) age groups. Our sessions follow a termly curriculum, and are designed to be fun, engaging and educative for participants of all abilities and experiences.

During the evening, we run an 18:00 to 19:15 session. The sessions will follow a simple structure; ball mastery-based arrival games, fun practices relating to the weekly topic and concluding with small-sided games or tournaments.

The sessions aim to support each participant with improving football skills, physical & mental well-being as well as providing participants with the opportunity to make new friends.

The EmpowHer programme aims to inspire and provide female players with enhanced confidence and self esteem, whilst providing opportunities to increase knowledge and skills across physical and mental wellbeing in addition to football and career pathways.

The programme will also provide increased knowledge and understanding on the female pathway at Fulham FC and Fulham FC Foundation, FFC Women’s Under 18 programme, external opportunities and exit routes into careers in football.

EmpowHer is for female footballers aged 15 -18 years (Under 16 – Under 18) who would like to combine a weekly training session with opportunities to complete formal qualifications, take part in educational workshops and receive mentoring support.
