EmpowHer is for female footballers aged 14 -18 years (Under 14 – Under 18) who would like to combine a weekly training session with opportunities to complete formal qualifications, take part in educational workshops and receive mentoring support.

Fulham FC Foundation will be running a Female Football Festival for participants aged 7 to 16 years. Our EmpowHer sessions aims to inspire and provide female players with enhanced confidence and self esteem, whilst providing opportunities to increase knowledge and skills across physical and mental wellbeing in addition to football and career pathways.

Festival Details:

Friday 31st May, 9.00am – 3.00pm (please ensure you arrive at 8.45pm for sign in), at Raynes Park High School Sports Ground.

The day will consist of football activities linked to our weekly Girls Development Centre and EmpowHer sessions which covers areas such as attacking and defending. Our workshops will also develop players in a holistic approach as they learn about developing confidence, building resilience and nutrition for athletes. We will also be joined by guest speakers from a range of different expertise. We will complete our day with small sided matches in a tournament style.

This programme provides opportunities into the following Fulham FC Foundation activities, Skills Club, Girls Development Centre, Girls Kicks, Player Pathway, EmpowHer, Football & Education.

This event will be held at Wandgas Sports and Soical Club Grafton Rd, Worcester Park KT4 7JW. Due to Fulham FC Training Ground being unavailable because of ground work taking place.

This event is being held for both Year 10 and Year 11 students who are interested in joining our programme. This is a great opportunity for players and parents to meet the coaches and ask any questions you may have.

We aim to create an environment where all girls feel comfortable taking part and playing football. Whether you are new to the game or play regularly, there is something for everyone.

Groups are split by age and ability to ensure our participants have the opportunity to play with their friends and in an environment that will challenge them to develop. Each day will focus on a different topic, aiming to create well-rounded footballers and young people! Participants will have the opportunity to take part in football matches, develop their knowledge of the game and meet like-minded people.

Soccer Schools at this venue are run outside on a grass pitch.

In the event of extreme weather, the decision will be made by the Head Coach whether it is safe to continue. There is indoor provision available where participants can take part in “wet weather” activities if necessary.

Our Girls Soccer School holiday programme caters for girls aged 5 to 14 years old. Whether you are new to the game or play regularly, there is something for everyone!

Format for the day

Players will be spilt into the following groups: 5 to 7 years old, 8 to 10 years old, 11+ years. Please note that there will be some discretion made by the coaches on the day to ensure that all players are in an environment which caters for their ability.

All players will have the opportunity to play with their friends, in an all inclusive environment that will challenge them to develop and have fun! Each day will focus on a different topic ranging from defending, passing and attacking. Players will have the opportunity to take part in football matches, develop their knowledge of the game and meet like-minded people.
