The Fulham Badgers Football Sessions are for participants with Downs Syndrome aged 16+ years. Sessions are delivered by highly qualified and experienced coaches.

Our Fulham Badgers Football Sessions can be the first step for a player on their footballing journey, or for the more experienced footballer looking to play regularly in a safe and inclusive environment.

Players will develop their footballing ability and build their confidence and ability to play in team environments. Players will also meet new friends and socialise with other budding footballers.

This session takes place in the indoor 3G astro pitch at Fulham FC Training Ground, so please ensure players wear adequate clothing/layers and that they have with them:

- Water bottle (no fizzy drinks)
- Suitable footwear (Moulded/Rubber studded boots, Astro Trainers or Trainers. No Metal Studs allowed)
- Shin pads
- GK gloves (if they need them!)

We are not currently able to provide 1:1 supervision for individual players and if this is needed for any player, this must be provided by a parent/carer and is at the discretion of Fulham FC Foundation. All parents/carers will be allowed to remain on site to watch the sessions.

Due to restrictions at the venue:
- Only one parent/carer will be allowed to attend the session with each player, if necessary.
- A designated travel route around the site must be followed at all times.
- Anyone arriving at the venue any later that 15 minutes after the designated start time of their session, will not be able to access their session.

Our Fulham Badgers Tennis Sessions can be the first step for a player on their tennis journey, or for the more experienced tennis player looking to play regularly in a safe and inclusive environment.

Players will develop their tennis ability and build their confidence and ability to play in team environments. Players will also meet new friends and socialise with other budding tennis players.

This session takes place in the indoor tennis courts at The National Tennis Centre, so please ensure players wear adequate clothing/layers and that they have with them:

- Water bottle (no fizzy drinks)
- Suitable footwear (Astro Trainers or Trainers. No studded footwear)
- Shin pads
- GK gloves (if they need them!)

Charlton Athletic Community Trust and the Charlton Upbeats are proud to host the Down’s Syndrome Football Festival at Ballerz on Sunday, October 27th.

The festival will see some of the best Down’s syndrome teams from clubs across the country go head-to-head to be crowned champions.

Taking place at the state-of-the-art Ballerz Air Dome at Bluewater in Kent, matches will take place throughout the day, while participants and their families can enjoy the high-tech facilities which include a host of football skills games. The event revives the Down’s Syndrome Active national tournament it hasn’t run since the pandemic.

The tournament is for adults with Down's Syndrome aged 16+.

No transport will be provided to/from the event.

Regsitration will start at 9:45am, with the first games due to start at 10:15am. The day will finish around 4pm.

You must have:
- Water bottle (no fizzy drinks)
- Packed lunch and snacks for the day
- Suitable footwear (Moulded/Rubber studded boots, Astro Trainers or Trainers. No Metal Studs allowed)
- Shin pads
- GK gloves (if playing in goal!)

Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis.
