Details: Skills Club sessions are designed to be fun and inclusive for all participants, taking a holistic approach to your child’s development. We aim to help your child not just enhance their football skills, but also develop their confidence, social skills and knowledge, in a fun and friendly environment. Hammersmith and Fulham Skills Club sessions run every Saturday morning during the school term from 8.55am - 9.45am at Fulham Cross Girls School. This session caters for boys and girls of the U4 (Nursery) to U6 (Year 1) age groups. Please note there will be no session on 1st November due to school Half Term. The sessions will take place on astroturf, please ensure your child has appropriate footwear. Please ensure that the participant brings the following: - Shin Pads - Appropriate footwear for astroturf - Appropriate clothing for the weather - Refillable Water Bottle - GK gloves (should the participant want to participate in goal) The Skills Club curriculum for this term is as follows: 06/09/25 - Ball Control 13/09/25 - Ball Mastery 20/09/25 - Dribbling (moving with the ball) 27/09/25 - Turning (changing direction) 04/10/25 - Teamwork (Defending) 11/10/25 - Teamwork (Attacking) 18/10/25 - Invasion Games 25/10/25 - Games Week 01/11/25 - HALF TERM (no session) 08/11/25 - Ball Control 15/11/25 - Ball Mastery 22/11/25 - Dribbling 29/11/25 - Tackling (regaining possession) 06/12/25 - Goal Scoring (shooting) 13/12/25 - Invasion Games 20/12/25 - Games Week Along with our topic for the day, every session will include a skill of the week to practice and the opportunity to earn a player of the day sticker. This programme offers a pathway into the following Fulham FC Foundation activities: Player Development Centre, Girls Development Centre. If your child enjoys Skills Club they may also enjoy the following Fulham FC Foundation activities: Weekday Skills Club, Soccer Schools, Skills Club Festival. Fulham Football Club Foundation are committed to promoting environmental sustainability and therefore politely requests that participants across all our programmes arrive with their own multi-use drinks bottle rather than a single-use bottle.
